Tina joined Avenues in June 2018, bringing six years of experience in marketing and admissions at the International School of Nanshan in Shenzhen. Before working in education, Tina received a B.S. in accounting and held roles in finance at TNT Express International. Her work in international schools led Tina to develop a passion for global education and to study for a master's degree in Educational Psychology.
Penny has worked with children of different ages and cultural backgrounds, from young children in immersion programs in New York to primary schoolers in the UK and rural China. Prior to joining Avenues, Penny served as a senior educational consultant, responsible for admissions counseling, curriculum design and coaching middle schoolers in integrated projects. Penny earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Catherine joined Avenues in May 2019. Previously, she worked for six years at Wall Street English, serving as Deputy Center Director with responsibility for admissions. Catherine holds a B.A. from Wuhan University of Science and Technology and is currently working towards an MBA from Xi’an Jiaotong University. She was born and raised in Xianning City, Hubei Province.
Jingyi (Joy) Ke joined Avenues in 2020, bringing a diverse range of experiences to the admissions team, including six years studying and working overseas. Before deciding to pursue her passion for international education in Shenzhen, Jingyi spent two years as a volunteer teacher at Teach For China. She was born and raised in Shenzhen and holds a B.A. in tourism and hospitality management and an M.A. in international banking and finance.
