About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Summer Program Intern to join our team and contribute to meaningful projects while gaining exposure to an innovative bilingual school environment. This summer, the intern will work closely with team members and teachers to support educational program planning, student life assistance, marketing tasks, etc., to ensure smooth daily operations and a joyful, purposeful experience for children during the summer programs.  


Responsibilities 

  • Pre-Program Support: Begin 3–4 weeks prior to the summer program to assist with planning and preparation tasks, including organizing materials, coordinating logistics, and supporting team readiness. 
  • After-School Assistance: During the pre-program period, assist with daily after-school duties, helping supervise students and support enrichment activities—an opportunity to get familiar with the school environment and build relationships with children. 
  • Classroom Support: During the summer program, assist Kindergarten and Primary teachers with daily learning activities, transitions, and classroom organization, contributing to a warm and engaging learning environment. 
  • Student Documentation: Capture and edit photos and videos of student activities; create media content for internal and external sharing. Write daily summaries to document key learning experiences. 
  • Field Trip Support: Help organize and supervise field trips and excursions, ensuring student safety and a smooth, positive experience. 
  • Supervision & Engagement: Actively monitor students during indoor and outdoor activities to promote safety, inclusion, and joyful participation. 
  • Project & Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of summer projects, special events, and day-to-day initiatives across campus. 
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and feedback discussions, offering ideas and hands-on support as needed. 

 

About You

  • Currently enrolled in university, preferably in education, early childhood development, or a related field. 
  • Enthusiastic about working with young children in a joyful, safe, and dynamic environment. 
  • Experience in early childhood settings or summer programs is a plus. 
  • Skilled in capturing and editing photos/videos using tools like Jianying, iMovie, Canva, or similar platforms. 
  • Fluent in English; 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Reliable, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting. 
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
